Eco-Narratives

Writing about ecology so others can

 experience it.

My name is Amber Massie; I am a senior at Wright State University. I am studying biology and education with the intent to teach a multitude of high school sciences. This website was created to showcase assignments for my Eco-Narratives class that I am taking this fall semester (2020). I have decided to take this course to better understand how narratives can influence our understanding of scientific facts. When it comes to teaching, I will have to be able to tackle topics from different perspectives in order for my students to understand them. Using narratives like Odyssey in A Sand County Almanac and Sketches Here and There by Aldo Leopold could help students make the connection where the generic textbook could not.
